The Eskimo Project

Eskimos are funny. Not to mention their logic to continue living where they do makes no sense to me. Why live in a place where you can’t pee in the open.

They buy Fridges. Yes. I said funny at the start. But they buy the fridge to keep their beer warm enough to drink. That’s it.

Imagine the predicament marketing and sales teams at fridge companies face. Not only do they need to know the proposition, they need to be able to communicate it well enough to a population that is pretty fed up of ‘cold’. The logical proposition that a cooling device presents just does not work here. Though the proposition is the same – it’s the application of this product that makes the money.

Today technology environments have become extremely niche. This poses a serious challenge for technology marketing and sales teams. They need to quickly understand the ecosystem and join the dots. Get a proposition outlined, build powerful campaigns, and execute to the mark.

With this premise, I’m on a mission to collect feedback and inputs from professionals everywhere on how they feel about technology marketing and sales. The kind of challenges they face and how they tackle them.

It doesn’t matter if your inputs are restrictive by geography, language, technology, or even consumer-facing or business-facing. I’d like to hear from you and get your points of view.  You also don’t need to be from a technology background.

If you’re interested in participating, please drop me a message and I’ll send you a form. Or better still – we’ll speak on skype Video.

Please do consider sharing this with people you think could contribute.

Thank you.
